Did someone send you a link to make a reservation and ask you to enter your credit card information? It could be a scam.

Fraudsters are creating fake reservation websites designed to collect credit card details. In many cases, scammers will message victims asking them to make a reservation using a link they provide.

These websites look legitimate but are designed to steal your payment information.

Watch out for:

  • Reservation links sent by people you don’t know.

  • Requests to enter card information through unfamiliar websites.

  • Messages that pressure you to book immediately.

Slow down before entering your card information online, and only book reservations through trusted websites or verified businesses.
