Did you receive a call claiming to be from your credit union asking you to confirm your account number or one-time passcode (OTP)? Pause before you respond.

Scammers often impersonate financial institutions to gain your trust. Remember: No legitimate company will ever call you to ask for your PIN, password, or verification codes.

Be cautious if the caller:

  • Pressures you to act immediately.

  • Asks for sensitive information.

  • Claims there’s an urgent issue with your account.

Instead of sharing information, hang up and contact your credit union directly using the phone number on the back of your card or the credit union’s official website.
